We often get asked if we sell tea, after all we are Texas Tea Coffee Roasters. To answer that question, no, we do not at this time, maybe in the future.

Have you ever watched The Beverly Hillbillies? You know in the opening song it says “…black gold, Texas tea.” It was of course referring to oil, but my husband and his dad, grandfather, and uncles have all worked in the oil industry. My husband originally came up with this name and at first, I wasn’t too sure about it because, well… we don’t sell tea…. I warmed up to it after a while and it eventually became our name. Its unique and represents our great state of Texas.

We started roasting our own coffee in 2019 on a half-pound air roaster. After a steep learning curve, we began sharing our new found hobby with friends and family. Over the next couple of years people began asking us to roast for them and suggested we open a business. In the fall of 2021, officially formed Texas Tea Coffee Roasters. We are currently online only with the occasional appearance at a local farmer’s market. We also offer free delivery to Hardin, Liberty, Dayton, and Mont Belvieu!
