The day is December 16, 1773 and the taxes are raised again on a staple item for the already frustrated colonists. The pathway to the American Revolution will be blazed tonight! The highly taxed tea, that the colonists were forced to purchase only from Great Britain will be cast into the sea! Through the night they will discard the 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor, sweep the ships of the third-party shippers, replace the broken equipment and return home knowing the course has been set leading for the Americans to be a free nation that will drink COFFEE instead of TEA!
This blend of freedom and independence is available in three roasts. A light roast with surprising low acidity, mild sweetness and hints of citrus, a smooth and slightly nutty medium roast, and our typical medium dark roast that is strong, yet smooth with notes of dark chocolate.
