Hello and welcome to Texas Tea Coffee Roasters! We’re so glad you stopped by. If you’re new here, let us share a little bit of our story.
In 2020, right after our son was born, our family moved to Texas and eventually put down roots in Hardin in late 2021. Faith and family are at the heart of everything we do—God comes first in our home, and we’re blessed with two beautiful, energetic kids who keep us on our toes (and yes, coffee definitely helps!).
So why the name Texas Tea Coffee Roasters if we don’t sell tea? Around here, “Texas tea” is a nickname for oil. Since my husband works in the oil industry—and because a strong, dark cup of coffee looks a lot like a cup of crude—we thought the name was a perfect fit.
Our coffee journey began back in 2019 when we started roasting our own beans at home. Once we experienced the taste of truly fresh coffee, we couldn’t go back. Now, we roast in small batches, made-to-order, so every bag delivered to your door is as fresh as it gets. We use a fluid bed roaster, which circulates hot air to evenly roast the beans without burning them. The result? Smooth, balanced flavors that let each origin shine. Some of our favorites come from Costa Rica and El Salvador.
Beyond roasting, we love remodeling houses, hiking, and finding new adventures—but sharing coffee with our community has become one of our greatest joys. Whether you’re looking for your new daily brew, a unique gift, or even just a conversation about coffee, we’d love to connect with you.
